My little knowledge of the franchise does let me know that he is a thinking man who probably isn't suited for swordfighting. Why turn this into an action flick? There are better things out there that actually include swordfighting. With Guy Ritchie attached I lose all hope before I even had any. I’ve never read any Sherlock Holmes books or seen the shows so I have no attachment to the character. Just a few minutes ago I read that it wasn't confirmed yet. Either way, Ritchie and Holmes sound like a strange match-up, but I love Snatch and Lock, Stock enough that I'll keep an eye on just about anything Guy is attached to.
