The movie is very good. If you go into it expecting a visual masterpiece you will be sorely disappointed. The film doesn’t attempt at all to be anything like Fight Club, resorting to a very clean and simple visual and stylistic aesthetic.

I want to be excited for this movie since it’s Palahniuk, but the trailer just looks like a simple, everyday comedy to me. I haven’t read the book, so I’m not sure what it’s like, and I still fully intend to see the movie, but I’m just not really excited.
