I had no idea Harve Bennett was involved with Hannah and Her Sisters. Tell me he didn’t do a rewrite of Woody, Ben!

Despite an understandable preconception you might have from FilmJunk, my appreciation of Woody Allen has nothing to do with Star Trek. If Woody Allen ever wrote and directed a Star Trek movie… that would blow my mind. Unfortunately, we live in a much safer world than that.

I’ve always thought that Woody should write and direct a live-action Charlie Brown movie.

I’ve seen everything that Woody Allen has ever done except for last year’s Cassandra’s Dream. Is there a more prolific director? Would his films be any better if he wasn’t so prolific?

I’ve read various books on Woody and his films. I can’t say why film critics admire his work so much. Even though most critics think Woody is no longer relevant, Woody manages to sustain an artistic reputation.

I can relate to Woody because he suffers from anhedonia (an inability to experience pleasure) like I do.

With Scarlett Johansson as his muse, I won’t need any more incentive to continue watching Woody’s movies.

I guess he has a loyal enough following that guarantees his ability to obtain funds to continue filmmaking. Count me and Derek in as one of his crowd.

I’m always excited for more Woody Allen… I’ve even enjoyed most of his weaker stuff. I wish the trailer actually had some dialogue, but it doesn’t matter all that much… I’m gonna see this, regardless.
