Just watched Speed Racer. I was a part of the very small minority who thought that the trailer looked really good when it first came out, but I stayed away from the movie because of the 30 something percent rating on rotten tomatoes. I’m glad I finally rented it though because I loved it. Everything just worked so well for me. I completely bought into the insanely surreal world that they created. My favorite Blu-ray release so far.

I’m sure all the IPod users don’t have a problem with the mp3 file of the show showing up correctly on their player, but it’s finally showing up correctly on my Zune and reading it as a podcast instead of some song. Finally! Whatever you did Sean, upload it the same way

The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer… the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard

Temple of Doom wasn’t the first movie rated PG-13. It and Gremlins in ‘84 was what lead to the new rating. Red Dawn was actually the first movies released as PG-13.
