Weird Web…Thursday?
So kill me. Sean left for Cali-ghey-nia and I was busy covering Hot Docs all day yesterday, so I didn’t get a chance to post this week’s weird web wednesday videos. However, I’m a man of my word, so today I give you this better late than never edition of…Weird Web THURSDAY! Sean sent me an email with a bunch of links to what are most likely lame to moderately humourous videos. I haven’t watched any yet, but based on the names I’m sure ‘treadmill owns girl 3 times’ will be good. (4 times would be better though.) I hate parodies and sketches, so i’ll skip that crap. (It’s a growing trend here on weird web wednesdays that I’m simply not a fan of.) I’m more into the videos of people getting hurt and publicly embarrassing themselves. ENJOY!

I still think when you guys did “the cookie eat” on one of your video specials that was one of the funniest things I’ve seen on the net. Probably because it had the duality of being both stupid and being meta (a parody of stupid with an emphasis of the childishness of that stupidity, because it’s cookies).

Not that I have contributed anything to make it better, but the ‘Weird Web’ thing has been pretty weak for quite awhile now.
Too many parodies. I like the ‘people getting hurt and crazy sports stuff’ I like the ‘outtakes’, and nutty japanese games shows. I like the accidental catching of something awesome.
There was one home movie months ago of a children’s choir and one red-headed was singing the songs like he was Corey Taylor from Slipknot. It was creepy and absurd and exactly what ‘Weird Web Wednesday’ is all about.
A bunch of assholes putting clips of Darth Vader into episodes of the Golden Girls is lame.
Although….I would watch that.
