I’d like to add this vid to this week’s http://WWW. In light of the discussion of magic a couple weeks ago that you guys had, I’d like to know if any thinks this is real. I’m a huge NBA fan btw and it seems like that the only sport you don’t talk about Greg!

Posted by Matt on April 17th, 2008I also think the rickroll is stupid. I actually like the song and can’t understand why it has become such a joke lately.
Posted by cib3k on April 19th, 2008This video legitimizes Rick Ashley and his song.

And the 80s are funny, and probably will continue to be for a good while. Most people think songs like Never Gonna Give You Up are pretty funny in their honest cheese, and how can you deny the amusement of the voice+dance ? Lighten up!
Posted by Henrik on April 20th, 2008What’s funny or not funny (like the whole Rickrolled thing) is a matter of taste and personal preference. I personally have never liked that song or thought it was funny, although the 80s certainly are. It’s not like I made a conscious choice not to like that joke, I just don’t. And do you really think you can tell people to keep their opinions to themselves, especially on the internet?
Posted by Matt on April 23rd, 2008Hey Matt, I wasn’t trying to silence you! My point was that there’s no stopping this infatuation, so your energy is probably better spent on something else. I for one thinks the song+video is quite ridiculous, and the whole thing is humourous.
Posted by Henrik on April 23rd, 2008I realize that. And I wasn’t trying to stop you from enjoying the song or dance or parodies. It’s just people voicing opinions. No offence meant, no offence taken.
