Indiana Jones Gets Animated… Sort Of
I thought some Indiana Jones fans might get a kick out of this picture (a real hoot), even though it’s probably not what you think it is. Considering the fact that Lucasfilm did the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series for the Cartoon Network a couple of years ago, an image like this might lead you to believe that they are working on a cool and stylish Indiana Jones cartoon as well. Sadly, this is not the case… at least not yet. This picture is a limited edition lithograph drawn by Patrick Schoenmaker that can be purchased from the Indiana Jones Shop online. There are only 245 in existence, selling for the low price of $95.00. You can see more of Schoenmaker’s artwork (including some Indiana Jones Heritage Topps Cards) over on his blog. Wouldn’t you love to see an animated Indy done in this style? I know I would.

Wow, that’s beautiful! Something like Disney’s “Atlantis” starring Indiana Jones could be a real winner.
