As Dr. Seuss adaptations go, it's the closes anyone has ever gotten to the Chuck Jones cartoon versions. This thing is a hair-shy of a masterpiece actually. I was really, really surprised how good HORTON actually is. This years Ratatouille? Perhaps. Nice on Horton. More people went to "Never Back Down" and "College Road Trip" than "Doomsday?" What is wrong with people? The Horton thing makes sense as it's a kid's film; but I'm shocked VP has held on this long. I guess movie goers don't like anything that kicks ass (i.e. Grindhouse, Doomsday). Seriously?
