O Boy. That Mena Suvari/Ving Rhames remake of Day of the Dead is really, really bad. Bored out of your skull bad. Embarrassingly bad.

I've seen a few of those Ask A Ninja bits, and...terrible.

After Zucker/Abrams/Zucker and the slew of parodies in the 1980s, not to mention the recent mess of really bad spoof films Epic/Superhero/Scary/Date Movie. Well, something like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes just doesn't have the off-the-wall originality it did back in 78. Attack is embarrassingly bad at times, but the wacko enthusiasm of the film is catchy and thus much of the rough spots are easy to forgive. I don't see folks being so kind to a remake.

Bad Idea.

I am not a fan of Ask A Ninja either. Just putting the words Ninja, Monkey, and/or Pirate in the title of your show does not immediately make it funny as much as some people would like that to be the case.

As for Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, it's more of a hilarious concept to think about than it is a great movie. The original is okay, but it's certainly not a movie that I have terribly fond memories of. Even so, I can't imagine a remake, especially one by the Ask A Ninja guys, being anywhere near as worthwhile as the original.

No thanks.
