I read the book when It came out. A friend of mine saw it at SFF and told me that there were a lot of changes in the movie. Of course I am still going to see it, but I am afraid I will be disappointed. Based on what these scenes show I'm not terribly excited to see Choke. Chances are I still will check it out based on the writer of the source material alone, but I wouldn't say that this is on my must-see list right now. My Dad got this book for me back when I was a premed (I think he thought it might have something to do with that). I read it on a 24 hour bus trip from Arcata CA to Riverside CA two days after 9-11.
