Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: Feb. 24, 2008

A rash of casting announcements this week left a lot of people wondering what’s up with Marvel’s Wolverine solo film, and why all these obscure mutant cameos are necessary. As much as I love Grant Morrison, do I really want to see his character Beak on the big screen? Okay, I’ll admit it… I’m at least a little bit curious. There was also some big news this week regarding the live action remake of Akira, and some possible sequels in the works for Renny Harlin’s Cliffhanger and Adam McKay’s Anchorman. Don’t forget to check out this month’s episode of The Movie Club Podcast!
