The Movie Club Podcast #5: Cannibal Holocaust and Freddy Got Fingered

movieclub5.jpgPrepare yourselves for the latest episode of The Movie Club Podcast, a monthly roundtable discussion with our friends over at Row Three! This month we took on the unenviable task of watching and dissecting two rather notorious films: Ruggero Deodato’s Cannibal Holocaust and Tom Green’s Freddy Got Fingered. If you’re curious as to what insightful things we could possibly have to say about these two brutal films, do yourself a favour and take a listen to the podcast over at MovieClubPodcast.com. Feel free to leave your own comments over there and join in the discussion.

Next month we will be watching Russ Meyer’s Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and Bruce Macdonald’s Roadkill. A poll to vote on movies for the episode #7 will also be online shortly.

  1. I’m not usually so touchy about such things, but I’ve never been able to get into “Cannibal Holocaust”, mainly because of the animal deaths. Call me a bleeding heart, but I can’t take it. And as much as I like Tom Green, and that’s a lot, I do not think “Freddy Got Fingered” is worth its salt. Good show, though.
