Juno Video Game Rumours Nothing More Than Shenanigans

You can tell it’s a slow news week when everyone across the internet picks up on a story from the DICE video game summit in Las Vegas, where a former Eidos Interactive president mentioned something about Juno and video games, and everyone goes crazy talking about how a Juno video game is in the works. His exact quote was: “People are making a game based on Juno just to cater to the [casual] market.” I guess I can see how that would be misleading, but according to /Film, he later clarified the comment, stating that by “based on”, he meant based on Juno’s low budget independent production model.

How did people think a Juno video game would make any sense at all? On the other hand, I suppose stranger things have happened. A Napoleon Dynamite game was released just a few months ago, and there was a March of the Penguins game released last year I believe. In fact, you know what… the way things are going, I bet there will be a Juno game sooner rather than later, so just forget I said anything!

  1. I just saw this film/photographed stand-up comedy routine and Ellen Page is the only thing that saved it for me (along with the obvious unapologetic misogynism on display with the married couple. Right up my alley!). She is too charming for words, I wish I knew her.
