Yes and Yes. I think that Kenneth Johnson should be put on V: The Second Generation into a miniseries on television, but I would love to see the cast and crew of V: the final battle and V: The series are coming back to the original screen. The cast members are Marc Singer, Faye Grant, Michael Ironside, Jennifer Cooke, Robert Englund, Jeff Yagher. As I recalled about the last episode 19 on V: The Return, I remembered that Kyle Bates was on a stow away fighter ship with Elizabeth Dunn (Star Child), when the series were over on television. I was wondering what happened to them, while they were leaving for Earth planet? I hoped that V: The Second Generation would be a better series than the last two series, during 1984-1985 ending storyline.

V was the best sci-fi show I ever watched. I was 8years old when the mini series hit the air , I didn't know about the tv series growing up though.

CHECK OUT THE BOOK AND HOPE THAT A NEW MINISERIES IS GREEN LIGHTED! DIANA, JULIE, MIKE, WILLIE, HARMY...their ALL still there, and you will NOT believe HOW ENGROSSING THE NEW BOOK IS! This would make for ground-breaking television just as the original did!

It's a solid bit of sci-fi and a fantastic bit of social commentary. Some of the effects are a bit dated (Diana eating the gerbil springs to mind) but overall it holds up pretty well. And it may have the best sound effect for lasers I have ever heard.

Ignore Kurt, he's a curmudgeon when it comes to the classics.

Well for those born in the 1970s, it's a great piece of nostalgia. No interest in a remake or anything. How can you replace Michael Ironside?

The original mini-series has been sitting in my NetFlix queue for a while now, but I have never seen the show before and am not sure if it is worth my time. I'm a huge fan of sci-fi and monster movies, but would anyone actually recommend this show to me?

Yes and Yes.

I don't think any kid who managed a glimpse at V managed to get through the night without some nightmare. That show was damned creepy.

I didn't realize there was a new book. I'll definitely need to take a look at it.
