My 'argument' is simply an observation. It's good though... Obviously you are free to choose whatever movies you prefer, as it should be. I might continue the futile complaints. The reason I brought up all the other movies, is that these are fantastic pieces of filmmaking, and movies like that are missing from discussions on the internet... Cannibal Holocaust and FGF are alittle more down the beaten path, which I think is a shame, but hey - you never know what might happen in the future right? Well I wasn’t trying to prove anything. I'm sure it has stuff that gets un-noticed (the thing most people seem to bring up is the thrown Freud statue... as if that makes the movie a masterpiece) but seriously, there are SO many movies to delve into, that not only will make you interested about filmmaking, but also entertain you. Nosferatu? Metropolis? Bronenosets Potemkin? Chronique d'un ete? Cries and whispers (might be a bit rough, I mean I know CH has some gruesome stuff, but reality bites)? All of these are real films, way more worthy of attention than Freddy Got Fingered. To me at least. I guess I should do my own Movie Club podcast, and pay for getting it uploaded and making it downloadable... FGF… What a waste of opportunity.
