I’m happy to hear that Tarantino would want to remake such a classic film. The acting was downright terrible, but had some fantastic one-liners that made the movie for me. It’s probably regarded as Russ Meyer’s best film, but he has quite a few films that really venture to true sexploitation without crossing into porn territory. Meyer’s always casted women with huge NATURAL breasts. QT should at least follow that guideline.

His writing hasn’t failed me yet and this is definitely a movie where I’d see his writing be closest to a comedy. I’m so down to see this if he decides to do it.

Sure, why not. Apparantly Terrantino gets off on this kind of stuff. But there’s not need to try to revive Grindhouse cinema, IMHO. All in all, I’m happy with the Grindhouse double-feature film from last year, and am ready to move on from it.

I don’t think it will come to pass, but you HAVE to see the original. It’s fantastic. It’s so mean and disgusting and just revels in everything that is horrible and unbearable to a degree where it’s just entertaining beyond belief. Definitely if you were enthusiastic about Grindhouse, you must check this movie out.

But if it were to be made, Britney Spears certainly couldn’t be in it. You need massive tits to capture the essence of the characters in Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

I hope Quintin Tarantino does either this or Inglorious Bastards. I mean if he lives up to the title of that film, it could be good, even if I am not personally really wanting to see a war movie by him. All in all, this is one remake that I would kill to see.

I don’t know. I kind of just wish Quentin would do something totally original like the “Inglorious Bastards” film he’s been rumored to be doing for years now. I think he indulged his Grindhouse fetish enough with “Death Proof” and to try it again would prove to be a financial and possibly a critical bomb. However, I do think that Rodriguez/Tarantino should brnad the “Grindhouse” idea and have young/new directors helm straight to DVD films to be packaged 2 at a time. It could pan out like a Masters of Horror series, or something similar.
