Film Junk 2007 Reader’s Choice Awards: Voting Is Now Open!
That’s right folks, it’s time for the 2nd annual Film Junk Reader’s Choice Awards! This is where you guys get to look back on the year in film and tell us what you thought. Of course, we’ve helped you out a bit by organizing the year’s movies into a number of categories with 5 nominees for each. (A few of the categories do allow you to write any answer you want, however.) We will tally the voting results, and announce the winners simultaneously with our own year end Best Of lists (which should be posted by Dec. 25th at the latest).
I’m sure there are going to be some discussions over the films we decided to nominate, so let me give you the basic guidelines we tried to stick to:
1. At least one of us had to see a movie in order for it to be nominated
2. At least one of us had to like the movie (or believe it deserved a nomination) in order for it to be nominated
3. For movies that fell into numerous categories, we tried to organize them so that there were no overly obvious winners in a particular group
