I’m pretty sure the movie is making a mockery out of stardom, Henrik. I know what you mean about gay jokes, etc though – I think the best case of that though is something like “Shallow Hal” which is nothing but fat jokes wrapped up in a ‘be nice to fat people’ message.

I can appreciate a non-racist person making a racist joke in an ironic way – i hope people understand what i mean by that – when you laugh at something because its so untrue – family guy pretty much is coasting off of this concept.

‘2008 is the horny teenage’? This sounds exactly like a hit song though, I think it’s pretty genius.

I have no doubt that the people involved with it has some respect for it themselves though, and I can definitely imagine Sarah Michelle Gellar actually thinking this is a good song. It sounds like that Lindsay Lohan music that was out, or Paris Hilton. Unless the movie itself makes a mockery of it in some way, I don’t think this is an insightful entry. It’s like making gay jokes throughout a movie only to teach people that that’s not how gay people really are. You are still cashing in on the gay jokes, and unless there is some actual evidence otherwise (ie. mockery in the film) this is just another movie song, like that horrible Transformers rock song that was blasted all throughout the summer.
