It feels like the show never left (well, aside from all of the jokes in the film about how it got cancelled). The creators of the show really did a lot to welcome back longtime fans of the series with all of the in-jokes, cameos, and references to old episodes in the movie. The whole DVD gives off this great feeling of thanks toward the fans who've helped bring it back with their support, and as one of those people, it feels really good to get a new product and see how much Groening, Cohen, and company care.
