Strange Wilderness Trailer Starring Steve Zahn and Jonah Hill
Here’s the trailer for the latest zany comedy to come out of Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison. It’s a flick called Strange Wilderness, and it stars Steve Zahn, Allen Covert, Justin Long and Jonah Hill as the ragtag crew of a nature show on a local cable network. When the ratings start to drop, they decide to head off to the Andes in search of Bigfoot. The movie seems to be at least partially inspired by the documentaries Grizzly Man and March of the Penguins, although the story also seems curiously reminiscent of the indie film The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang (which Justin Long also starred in). First time director Fred Wolf previously penned the Chris Farley/David Spade classic Black Sheep, and co-wrote both Joe Dirt and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star with David Spade. Surprisingly, the trailer doesn’t look completely horrible, and I do find the majority of the cast members at least somewhat funny. What do you think, does this have potential? Check out the trailer over at Yahoo! now. Strange Wilderness hits theatres on February 1st.

I admire the audacity of showing the same clip four times in a row, and I have to admit that I laughed harder each fucking time.
