New To Theatres This Weekend – Nov. 16, 2007
Beowulf is the big release on the agenda for this weekend, the motion capture epic from director Robert Zemeckis and screenwriters Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary. It’s getting surprisingly good reviews, although I have to wonder how many of the good reviews came from digital 3D screenings of the flick. Also out this weekend is Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, starring Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman, and Mike Newell’s Love in the Time of Cholera. The Coens’ No Country for Old Men has expanded slightly, and Richard Kelly’s Southland Tales is currently playing in less than 100 theatres.

I have no interest in Beowulf.
Goin to see NCFOM tonight with a bunch of people. excited.
Im actually also excited for Southland Tales, just out of curiosity of what a clusterfuck it could be.
