Jay, you made a major error in your statement at the end about John Krasinski (Jim) and Jenna Fischer (Pam)
Krasinski just turned 28 last week, and Fischer is 33. On the show they are supposed to be 27.
Rainn Wilson though, is 41.
Posted by Goon on October 29th, 2007Holy crap a “horror special”
Looking forward listening to this one …as I do to the rest of the podcasts.

That makes more sense. However, I will blame ‘Movie Entertainment’ magazine for this mix up. (at least in terms of Krazinski’s age):
“Voted one of People’s sexiest men of the year, Krasinski, 38, was rumoured to be dating Leatherheads co-star Renee Zellweger.”
Posted by Jay C. on October 29th, 2007Having never lived in a country that celebrated Halloween, I find this end-of-October festival a curiosity.
Horror movies that feature the Devil always disturb me more than any other. So I would watch The Exorcist or The Omen rather than a serial killer, vampire, zombie, or slasher movie.
Posted by TheSnowLeopard on October 29th, 2007When I was a kid the only two movies that scared me were It and Killer Klowns From Outer Space. I’ve never had a fear of clowns, but it’s an odd coincidence that those two both featured evil clowns and scared the bejeezus out of me.
My favorite movie for a fun time on Halloween is probably Tremors. I love that movie. Great original monster, interesting locale, quirky characters, lots of explosions, humor, action, violence, gore, suspense…what’s not to like? I’ve never been a big fan of the slasher genre, but I do love a good monster movie. Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, The Thing, The Fly, Slither, Tremors, and Predator top my list. Others that I enjoy are Phantoms, Critters 2, Feast, The Blob, John Carpenter’s Vampires, The Evil Dead, The Faculty, and Deep Rising.
Posted by Rian on October 31st, 2007A lot of horror movies scared the hell out of me when I was a kid especially the Exorcist films. I’ll also admit being scared when I watched Michael Jackson’s Thriller video, hehe.
