I can't see anybody but Wesley Snipes in the role. His extremely humourless delivery and demeanor worked perfectly for the dystopian world depicted in especially the first movie (which I think is the superior one, by about 50%). I don't get what they could do to possibly improve on the franchise. Sure, there was a shit movie, but the style and everything was established. Are they going to take it in a new direction? I think that would be a mistake. Is it just going to be a Blade movie with a new actor, and without a 4 in the title then? This would be strange. I can’t see anybody but Wesley Snipes in the role.
