I'm sure the extra 7 minutes will be released and/or leaked online for viewing eventually, or if nothing else, I presume it will be on the DVD, so I can wait. I'm assuming that the footage in this 7 minute prequel won't be necessary to understand the actual film when it is released, and if it is, then that's just dumb. Convince people to see another movie any way you like, but if I have to see one movie in a specific theater to understand a completely different and unrelated one later, you're doing something wrong. Maybe I'm old school but I like the idea of keeping movies and all the contexutal information you need to fully enjoy and understand a given movie within the actual movie.
