Neill Blomkamp Halo Digital Short #3: Last One Standing

Were you among the masses who lined up at midnight last night to grab your copy of Halo 3? Well what are you, some kind of nerd? With the game now officially in stores, a third Neill Blomkamp-directed Halo digital short has hit the web, and man, these things just keep getting better. Mark my words, a Halo movie is going to happen just based purely on the amount of copies this game is going to sell. And if Neill Blomkamp is not involved, there is quite simply no justice in the world. Check out this action-packed short film and drool over the possibilities.

  1. Sure it looks really good, I actually like the documentary-style of these shorts, but I figure if or when Halo becomes a movie its going to be more stylized to suite mainstream-viewers – hell I don´t even care if its CGI…but that would be my last choice.

  2. I don’t really give a crap about Halo, but a new sci-fi action film is cool with me and Blomkamp obviously has what it takes to do the action and special effects. The only thing about this video that turns me off are the stereotypical sound choices when the sounds of battle fade out and that soft triumphant/sentimental music plays over it. I’m getting so damn sick of that.

  3. Pretty cool short. Hopefully Neill Mein Kampf will make a great Halo movie. At least I’ll have faith in seeing awesome action scenes.
