The Bucket List Trailer Starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman
There’s a certain type of movie that Jack Nicholson has been locked into doing over the past ten years or so — you know the kind I’m talking about. He usually plays an old, slightly crazy guy who can say whatever he wants because he’s old and slightly crazy. We laugh, but in the end there’s a heartwarming message about life somewhere in there. The formula worked wonders for films like As Good As It Gets and About Schmidt, and now we can probably add The Bucket List to that group as well. Nicholson plays a terminally ill cancer patient, who along with Morgan Freeman, ditches his hospital bed to go out and do all the things they wanted to do before they die. It certainly looks like it has potential to be a funny and uplifting movie, although probably a little bit of a tearjerker as well. The Bucket List is directed by Rob Reiner (This Is Spinal Tap, Stand by Me, The Princess Bride), and written by relative newcomer Justin Zackham (Going Greek). You can check out the trailer over at Yahoo! now; The Bucket List hits theatres on December 25th.
