Spaceballs Animated Series Promo
Speaking of new TV shows, G4’s upcoming Spaceballs animated series has a lot of potential as well. They still haven’t set a premiere date for it yet, but it’s supposed to air sometime this fall. I love the look of the show, and with the involvement of Mel Brooks I have every confidence that it will live up to the movie in terms of laughs. Especially when you consider how much fodder the Star Wars prequel trilogy should provide. I just hope it’s not going to rely on Jar Jar jokes and other obvious crap like that. Here’s a short promo for the series that aired on G4. It doesn’t show much, but it’s enough to get me excited.
