Corey Haim Forced to Drop Out of Lost Boys 2?
It seems like the world just doesn’t want to help Corey Haim get his life back together again, and everyone is conspiring against his return to the big screen. According to reports, Haim may be forced to drop out of the upcoming production The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, which is currently filming in Vancouver. The reason? Immigration troubles. Yes, apparently his checkered past has come back to haunt him, and although the exact details are unknown, I am assuming the problem may be that if he returns to Canada, he will not be allowed back into the U.S. afterwards. I don’t see why Canada would reject him, seeing as he is already a Canadian citizen. Haim’s best bud/nemesis Corey Feldman has already arrived in Vancouver to prepare for the six-week shoot. Warner Bros are working to resolve the issue and hopefully get Haim’s involvement back on track. It sucks for Haim, but when you’re in his situation and basically begging for roles in a movie, it’s certainly not going to help if you can’t travel between countries freely. Let’s hope this doesn’t ruin the only gimmick that The Lost Boys 2 currently has going for it.

Weird. I’m not sure how far behind we are on their reality show but I just saw an episode last week where he went up to Whistler to talk to Feldman while Feldman was on vacation with his wife.
The last time I looked, Whistler was still Canadian…

Posted by lynn on July 18th, 2008I think it sucks that Haim isn’t in the film! He is a much better actor than Feildman. I’ve been watching the 2 Corey’s and I really feel bad for Haim. It’s not the same feeling in the movie if everybody is not there! I don’t even think I will buy or even rent the movie, because Haim’s not in it!
