Indiana Jones 4 Teaser Posters By Drew Struzan

I wasn’t a big fan of the first Indiana Jones IV teaser poster that was released, but there have since been a couple new posters that turned up at the San Diego Comic Con and I like them a lot. They both feature artwork from Drew Struzan, whose distinctive style has become synonymous with Lucasfilm and fantasy/adventure movies. The posters definitely tap into a feeling of nostalgia from previous Indy flicks, I only hope the actual movie can do the same. (There’s also a third Struzan-style poster on an unofficial Indiana Jones IV MySpage page, but I haven’t been able to confirm its authenticity.) Thanks to Pete for the heads up!

  1. Man, I’ve been wondering where Struzan has been for the last few years. I miss the days of painted movie posters. I was just looking at the cover of the Logan’s Run DVD the other day and wishing that more movies had artwork instead of photos for posters and covers. The last thing I can think of that Struzan did for a movie was the box cover for Hellboy. These images are great!

  2. He’s in Brookings Oregon at Signatures Gallery! We have artist’s proofs of the Indie, ET and Star Wars pieces. Also, for the first time ever, Drew is showing his personal artwork and is it ever fantastic. He’s got lots of female figures and wildlife. Check out the website: http://www.signaturesgallery.com
