This Week on DVD – Aug. 14, 2007
A wide assortment of movies on DVD this week, from Scott Frank’s critically acclaimed crime flick The Lookout, to David Lynch’s Inland Empire, to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force feature film. There are also a slew of new special editions including new versions of Taxi Driver, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth, plus a couple new Masters of Horror episodes, and the latest Marvel Direct to DVD animated feature, Doctor Strange. Perhaps the strangest release of the week is the classic arcade game Dragon’s Lair, now available on HD-DVD!

I’m going out of my way to track down “Air Guitar Nation”. I can’t believe it only played around here for a few days. Sad indeed.
Posted by Marina on August 14th, 2007Air Guitar Nation may not be out until August 28th. Amazon.com says the 28th, but there is an alternate Canadian release that was supposed to be out today. If it is out, I have a feeling it will be hard to find.
