Sort of a weird line-up of movies hitting theatres this weekend, with a lot of question marks as to how they will all be received. First off we have Rush Hour 3, which should be guaranteed money in the bank… but are people losing enthusiasm for it? The trailers have been terrible and reviews seem to confirm it. Neil Gaiman’s Stardust may have been crippled by a poor marketing campaign, but it does look interesting (to me at least) and has an impressive cast. Of course, you also can’t underestimate a crappy family comedy, with Daddy Day Camp poised to make some decent coin this weekend as well. As usual, the movie I want to see the most (Rocket Science) is playing in the least number of theatres (6). Some things never change. What do you think will come out on top at the box office?
