I don’t expect argument every episode. After all, you can’t contrive debate like that. It all depends on the movie, peoples reaction, mood, etc. It just bubbles out of the conversation unexpectedly, which is what made this episode a surprise. Such passion!

Every now and again is fine. But I much prefer debate to consensus. I learn more about the movie that way.

yeah, I wanna re-listen to the Nacho Libre argument

I remember back when LOTR:FOTR came out and I hated it, was absolutely bored by the film. It took the extended edition and watching with a fan to change my mind, and I havent looked back since.

It was special for all of us. It’s nice, every now and again, to review a film that divides us. Sometime we’ll have to do an episode where we look back on disagreements and re-address them to see if anyone’s minds have changed.
