Stuart Gordon’s Stuck Trailer Starring Mena Suvari

Although Stuart Gordon will always be remembered for his first feature film Re-Animator, released back in 1985, it’s nice to see the guy still keeping busy nowadays with a variety of projects — still primarily in the realm of schlocky b-movies, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with that! Most recently he directed a couple of episodes for Showtime’s Masters of Horror series, and a movie called Edmond starring William H. Macy. Next on his plate is the Re-Animator sequel House of Re-Animator (also starring Macy), and another movie called simply Stuck. A trailer has popped up online for Stuck, which stars Mena Suvari as a young nurse and party girl who finds herself committing a hit and run one night coming home from a club. Unfortunately for her, the guy she hit was Stephen Rea, and her fate seems tied to him somehow. While the trailer doesn’t give much away, it’s obviously a horror flick on some level — whether or not the horror is strictly psychological remains to be seen. No word yet on a release date for Stuck, but you can check out the trailer via the link below.

  1. Yeah, you gotta love the excess of blood on the hood of the car. Nice. Plus Rea is always enough to get my attention, if only for a minute.

  2. I wonder if Stuck is inspired by the incident I read about last year where a woman hit a man while driving, and left him stuck through the windshield of her car over the course of a weekend?

  3. Nice… yeah it must be, the person in the article was a nurse’s aide as well. Crazy.
