Another slow week in DVD Land. All we have to look forward to this time around is the Mark Walhberg action thriller Shooter, and Craig Brewer’s Black Snake Moan, hailed by many as one of the best films of the year thus far. Horror fanatics may also be interested in James Wan’s latest film Dead Silence, and Anchor Bay’s genre-twisting Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. For once it’s a pretty big week for HD-DVD releases, although there’s still nothing here that could turn the tide against Blu-ray.
