Maybe it's just me, but I'm tired of my action films looking so damn clean and polished. I hate it when there's a gun fight going on but everything is stainless steel and jet black and bright, fluorescent white. This looks like it's got the same visual style as films like Underworld, Ultraviolet, and Aeon Flux. Why do all action movies have to look like this these days? Live Free Or Die Hard looks a bit like this as well. Does every movie have to be tinted blue and have a scene in a medical facility with walls and instruments so white that they practically glow? Like I said, maybe it's just me. Then again, the only thing about this movie that I've found at all interesting so far is the inclusion of Timothy Olyphant. I've loved that guy since the first time I saw Go.
