Watch the Pilot Episode of HBO’s John From Cincinnati Online

Just to continue harping on HBO, some fans probably felt like they were being kicked when they were down after seeing The Sopranos finale, followed by the bizarre new series premiere of John From Cincinnati, knowing full well that Deadwood creator David Milch had traded in his wild west gunfights for this strange concoction of levitating surfers, heroin junkies and… aliens from another planet? What a weird, weird show. I don’t think anyone can decide if it’s genius or madness after only one episode, but it’s definitely unlike anything else on TV, I’ll give it that. If you’re at all curious (how can you not be?) and you missed the pilot episode, you can now watch the whole thing online. Kudos to HBO for making the video content available outside of the U.S. as well. Hey, I’m happy to see Luke Perry and Ed O’Neill working again, but I really can’t see this show catching on.

  1. i kinda liked it. i was giddy when Ed “Al Bundy” O’Neill popped on screen.

  2. I followed the link but the drop down menu only had a few clips and a trailer for the second episode. Where can I find the first episode download?

  3. My recent article on the new HBO series “John from Cincinnati” may be of interest . . .
