I watched the first few eps but found it kind of uninspired (probably because it's a reality TV show). Bay might be a one trick hyper stylized Mountan Dew commercial director but I'd imagine he is qualified to comment on what might be technically wrong, bad, or bland about amatuer work. It's a good thing since that's how people will improve with a little tough criticism. That’s good if somebody is telling it like it is on that show.
