This is only sort of on topic: Global Frequency is a great concept and is perfect for television. Each issue of the book is a self-contained story focusing on a different person. Of course the pilot was very WB-friendly and as such the plot (based on the first issue of the comic) was very dumbed down. Give it a slightly bigger budget a few more talented writers, directors, and or actors, and a spot on a channel like ABC or Fox, and you've got a winner...in my opinion, of course.
