First Fully Animated Trailer for Seinfeld’s Bee Movie

Well after seeing a couple of creative live action teasers for Jerry Seinfeld’s upcoming Bee Movie, they have finally released a fully CG trailer to show us what the movie will really look like. As expected, it bears more than a passing resemblance to Antz and A Bug’s Life, and for the most part it plays out just like a trailer for every other animated family movie from the past decade. There are a few glimmers of hope, where the Seinfeld-ian humour shines through and makes me think this could be something worth watching. But for the most part… yawn. Bee Movie features the voices of Seinfeld, John Goodman, Annette Bening, Ray Liotta, Renee Zellweger, Kathy Bates, Chris Rock, Oprah Winfrey, Matthew Broderick, Uma Thurman, Alan Arkin, Robert Duvall, and William H. Macy (that’s quite the list) and it hits theatres on November 2nd. Check out the trailer over at Moviefone now and see what you think.

  1. the casting is very impressive, i think that for Seinfeld it would have been better for him to do a live role in a movie instead of voice over, it would be nice to see if he still has it.
