Something Awful’s Photoshop Phriday Does Grindhouse Posters
You’ve gotta love the Photoshop Phriday feature over at Something Awful. They’ve got a ton of talented and dedicated readers, and it never ceases to amaze me, the faux artwork they come up with every week. (This fake Transformers toy gallery is one of my recent favourites, for example.)
Anyway, for this past week they decided to ask their loyal Photoshop Phreaks to design grindhouse-style posters for mainstream movies. Some of the stuff they came up with is just plain brilliant. The mock ups they’ve created for Little Miss Sunshine, Forrest Gump and Groundhog Day are just a few of the highlights. In many cases they’re way more interesting than the original posters! You can see the entire gallery via the link below. (Oh, and while we’re on the topic of cool movie posters, check out this gallery of bizarre and fascinating Polish movie posters that Chian sent me yesterday.)

These are fantastic! A perfect match for my Grindhouse trailers series over on fjetsam.
