Full Rush Hour 3 Trailer Hits The Web
I posted earlier in the week about how the new Fantastic Four movie is likely to be one of the year’s underperforming blockbusters, and here’s another movie that could very well be outclassed by everything else coming out this summer: Rush Hour 3. I know a lot of people liked the first two films (I personally thought part 2 was surprisingly good) but this just sounds like a bad idea. You know they’re running out of ideas when they set a movie in France just for comedic effect. Watch and wince as Chris Tucker hits on women, tries to be funny speaking French, and stumbles through a bad imitation of “Who’s On First”. On the one hand, there’s always Jackie Chan and the action element to redeem the film, but according to what we’re seeing in this new trailer, there don’t seem to be any major set pieces to get excited about. Check it out over at Apple now and see if it impresses you. Rush Hour 3 hits theatres on August 10th.

As a genuine fan of the first Rush Hour, I gotta say that this movie just doesn’t look that spectacular. All prejudice about Tucker and his payroll aside, I’m still not really interested. And whatever happened to the rumors of Van Damme being the villain?
Posted by Rian on May 3rd, 2007This isn’t anywhere near spectacular. The trailer made me yawn.

Fantastic Four and Die Hard better beat this money-wise. Seriously. Otherwise I will make it a point to blame the entire movie-going society (worldwide) that a movie that I wanted to make money didn’t make as much as something that I didn’t want to make money!!!
Posted by Henrik on May 3rd, 2007i think that this will definitely put the final nail on not just this series, but as well as the careers of Chan and Tucker.
