This Week on DVD – Apr. 24, 2007

Another long overdue classic arrives on DVD today with Harry and the Hendersons: Special Edition! Also check out the popular Ben Stiller comedy Night at the Museum, Helen Mirren’s Academy Award-winning performance as The Queen, and the Denzel Washington/Tony Scott action thriller Deja Vu. Last but not least, a couple of potentially “sacrilicious” releases in Al Franken: God Spoke and James Cameron’s The Lost Tomb of Jesus. Did anything catch your eye this week?

  1. watched “Smokin Aces” today since my roommate rented it. Its actually for the most part an underrated little action flick, its fun and stupid and some of the cameos (like Jack from Lost and Batmanuel) were pretty cool. It has however, an absolutely awful ending that tries to make it more than what the movie is and is incredibly out of place.
