Well the movie opening this weekend that people seem to be most excited about is Hot Fuzz, from the creators of Shaun of the Dead… unfortunately it’s not getting nearly as wide a release as the Luke Wilson/Kate Beckinsale slasher flick Vacancy or the Anthony Hopkins/Ryan Gosling thriller Fracture. Although both movies sound pretty dull to me, I won’t be surprised if they do quite well at the box office. Also opening this weekend is In The Land of Women, starring Adam Brody of The O.C. fame, and in a very small number of theatres, David Arquette’s campy horror flick The Tripper.
