I was just listening to the part of the podcast wherein you were discussing the house arrest ankle bracelets. You seemed skeptical that these exist or are used regularly. I haven't seen Disturbia, nor do I plan to (much less have any interest in it), so I'm not defending anything that happens in the film, but these ankle bracelets do exist and work the way that you described.
