New To Theatres This Weekend – April 13, 2007

Not too much hitting theatres on this Friday the 13th… you may want to stay home and watch a Friday the 13th DVD box set instead. If you’re in the mood for something scary, the only thing that really fits the bill is Disturbia starring Shia LaBeouf. Larry and Balky return in Perfect Stranger (okay it actually stars Halle Berry and Bruce Willis), and Karl Urban stars in the long-delayed violent viking flick Pathfinder. Also in select U.S. theatres is the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie. With such limited competition, does Grindhouse have a shot at turning in a strong second weekend?

  1. Pretty crummy week. The Hoax was pretty good and worth seeing if it opens up nearby but I think I’m heading out for Viking adventure.
