Christina Ricci Talks Trixie in Speed Racer
Looks like the cast is slowly coming together for the Wachowski Bros’ upcoming adaptation of Speed Racer. A few weeks ago it was announced that Emile Hirsch (The Girl Next Door, Lords of Dogtown) had landed the lead role, followed by announcements of supporting roles for Susan Sarandon and John Goodman. This week we have confirmation that Christina Ricci will be playing Speed’s girlfriend Trixie. Okay, I like the Wachowskis but I can’t pretend to be overly excited about this movie… and apparently neither can Christina Ricci! Seriously, just check out the lame video interview below: “I’m just kind of excited and kind of nervous and just sort of overwhelmed by the whole experience.” She comes across as such an airhead.

Posted by Henrik on April 13th, 2007I’d fuck her. I think she’ll make a good trixe. But she’s older than the guy who’s playing speed. I kind of agree with the IMDB boards. I think the Cheerleader from hero’s would have been a better choice. Nothing against Ms Ricci.
I wouldn’t mine watching them both fright for the role in the jello pit of doom. Were bra’s and panties are only thing stand between them and death.
