New Transformers Movie Posters of Optimus and Megatron
Well it looks like the marketing machine is about to shift into overdrive for the upcoming Transformers movie. Two new posters have been released online this week depicting headshots of Optimus Prime and Megatron looking stoic and menacing. You know, I recently read the first issue of the Transformers Movie Prequel comic book, and the thing that occurred to me is that I had no freaking clue who any of the characters were supposed to be. It’s all fine and good to say that the old designs wouldn’t work in a live action movie, but all the Transformers just look like generic piles of twisted metal now. At least you can tell it’s supposed to be Optimus because of the colours I suppose. What do you think of the posters? so heres the new Transformers clips. paint me now officially annoyed. these clips arent that good, and these robots look so overly detailed that they’re not even cool looking.
yet people are acting like they’re the greatest ever, and lately the people who point out that Michael Bay kinda sucks are being treated like they’re insane. i dont know man, people are getting their hopes up so high that i’m more interested now in the fan after math of the film than the film itself.
my theory: ignoring the complete opposite ends of the spectrum: if the film is passable, they will treat it as the greatest thing ever. if it is less than passable but not horrible, Bay will be shot and killed.
