Newsflash: Jenna Fischer is Hot (Another Office Star Rises to Fame)
We’ve been hearing a lot of movie casting announcements lately involving various members of the NBC series The Office. The show is serving as a springboard for a lot of rising stars, and it continues to be mined for its wide array of comedic talent including Steve Carell (Michael), Rainn Wilson (Dwight) and John Krasinski (Jim). You can add Jenna Fischer (Pam) to that list as well. I’m not sure how this piece of information escaped my attention before, but she plays the love interest in the upcoming Will Ferrell/Jon Heder figure skating comedy Blades of Glory, and this movie is likely to mark her transition from “girl next door” to full blown hottie. I didn’t realize just how many people found her attractive, until a still from the movie (featuring Fischer dressed as a stripper, no less) was posted on the social bookmarking site Digg, and received almost 3000 votes! Yeah, I’d say she’s got more than a few admirers out there, and she also appears in this month’s issue of Allure Magazine. I wonder how husband James Gunn (director of Slither) feels about all this?
