When we heard last year that Burger King was working on their own feature film as a thinly-veiled marketing gimmick, it seemed a bit hard to imagine exactly what kind of movie they might produce. Then, later in the year, they released a series of X-Box 360 games that reached double-platinum sales, despite being nothing more than blatant advertisements for BK. Gamers seemed to embrace them ironically, and then found that they were actually more fun than they had any business being.

Now comes word that the upcoming Burger King movie will star The King himself, and if you played the game Sneak King, you’re probably thinking the same thing I am. The game featured a live action video intro of a guy wearing The King outfit sneaking around a house in shadows… very creepy stuff! Clearly The King should be developed into the star of the next big horror movie franchise. Now there’s no indication that this is what the BK movie will actually be, but if they’re smart, they’d jump on that idea. Apparently the movie will delve into The King’s back story in some way… perhaps we’ll learn how he ascended to the throne of all-beef patties? Either way, this thing will probably be so bad it’s good, and I have a feeling that’s exactly what Burger King is aiming for. But the more important question is, will Brooke Burke be involved?
