I remember reading an announcement sometime last year that they were working on a Family Guy spin-off, a sort of internet-only talk show featuring Baby Stewie as the host, but being that I am not the biggest Family Guy fan in the world, it quickly escaped my mind and I forgot it had ever been mentioned. Well now seemingly out of nowhere, the first episode of Up Late With Stewie and Brian has been released, and can be seen over at MySpace. The episode is about 10 minutes long and features an interview with Rob Corddry, star of upcoming Fox series The Winner. I have to admit, I was expecting a rip-off of Space Ghost Coast To Coast and a lot of unfunny jokes, but I actually found it pretty amusing. The only thing that sucked is that it was basically a 10 minute commercial for an upcoming Fox show, and if they’re only going to use it to cross promote Fox stuff then that’s a big waste of a good idea.
